Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains eConnect Programming

 

The eConnect module of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a programming tool that enables you to integrate data from your other computer systems into Great Plains.   eConnect gives you three ways to integrate data into Great Plains:

 

  • You can build an application using Microsoft Visual Studio and VB.net and have this custom application call an eConnect dll to put data into Great Plains

 

  • You can build an application using Microsoft Visual Studio and VB.net which will put data into Great Plains via Microsoft Biztalk messaging

 

  • You can build a SQL Server stored procedure that will put data into Great Plains by calling one of the hundreds of eConnect SQL Server stored procedures
