Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services is Microsoft's reporting software.   Microsoft Reporting Services works like this:

1)   If you have a SQL Server license, you can deploy Reporting Services for FREE.

2)   Reports are designed in Visual Studio.  

3)   Reports are run in a pre-built web reporting environment.   The web reporting environment has extensive security built into the product so that you can control who can run which reports and which data they see.

This is a very cost-effective alternative to deploying reports in Crystal Enterprise.   Please call us if you would like to understand this new technology better.
