Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Training Class: Querying A Database with Transact-SQL This is a two day, introductory training class on querying a SQL Server database. This course teaches you how to use the Transact-SQL language to query a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database. This is a really good course for someone who wants to learn how to build reports and conduct ad-hoc queries against a database. You will learn the basics of the SQL language. No prior knowledge of SQL Server databases is assumed.
The focus of this course is NOT on the details of database development or administration. Rather, this course is more for non-database developers and administrators who need to learn how to query a database for reporting and data mining purposes. Objectives of this course:
